On behalf of The Dialogue Society Sheffield Branch, I would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to a seminar by Dr Chris Hewer on Wednesday, the 16th November at 18:30. The topic of the seminar is “Family: The Building Block of Society”.
Dr Chris Hewer, who comes from a background in Christian theology, education, Islamic studies and inter-faith studies, normally visits Sheffield a few times a year for a set of seminars. Therefore, we just wanted to take this opportunity to listen to his inspirational speech, learn from him and have a chance to see our dear friends.
The seminar will be at St Peter’s Church who have so kindly opened their doors for the Dialogue Society to hold this seminar. The event will consist of two sessions with a short refreshment break in the middle. In the second session, there will also be a Q&A period. We aim to finish no later than 9pm.
Please find the invitation card attached. We are looking forward to your response. Please kindly reply to sheffield@dialoguesociety.org to confirm your attendance. Your presence at the event will be an absolute honour for us.

What Drew You Into Interfaith? – Sunday 30th October 4:30-6:00pm om Zoom
An online discussion of encounters, events and experiences that got you involved in Interfaith.

Continuing our series of occasional online Sunday afternoon chats, which we started during lockdowns, providing an informal platform to meet and share thoughts and experiences. These are not debates or presentations, but a chance to express ideas and concerns.
If you wish, or feel it is appropriate, submit a photo or illustration beforehand, to sheffieldinterfaith@hotmail.co.uk
