Invitation to our AGM

We are holding our AGM on 6th February at 6pm. It will be held online and in person at Shirley House.

All members are welcomed to attend and any new members can either join us on the day or beforehand. (Membership details are at below).

We have reviewed what we are doing and now need your agreement for thre future direction of Sheffield Interfaith. It is proposed that we
1. Create a space in which we can meet together to eat (our food and friendship events)
2. Create an online space in which we respectfully share aspects of our own faith and listen to other. This could cover topics such as Honesty, Hope, Wisdom, as well as a sharing of our respective scriptures.
3. Set up a small group of members to help us develop a safe way of having face to face discussions about the more difficult / sensitive aspects of interfaith dialogue
4. Refocus the Interfaith Week event to concentrate on a visit to one place of worship rather than arranging a walk visiting a number of places.
5. Constantly seeking new ways of engaging with as many different faith groups in Sheffield as possible.

Individual membership of is £5 per year, and a faith group or congregation can join for £15 per year. There are 2 options for paying for membership.

Option 1. By post Send a cheque for the relevant amount (£5 for individual or £15 for an organisation) to Sheffield Interfaith, Shirley House, 31 Psalter Lane, Sheffield, S11 8YL, including your name or name of your organisation, and either your address or email address.
Option 2. By internet banking Send your payment to our account – Sort Code 23-05-80 / Account number 43292951. Please use your surname as the reference and then email us at sheffieldinterfaith@hotmail.co.uk (You can set up a Standing Order this way)
